Petitioner has filed this petition seeking following relief (s) :- “(i) That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to consider the representation in the light of order of writ appeal and to grant promotion either on completion of 7 years of service or from the date in which similarly situated Assistant Teacher of the other district have been granted promotion on the post of Teacher BALRAM PRASAD DEWANGAN Digitally signed by BALRAM PRASAD DEWANGAN Date: 2025.10.09 10:41:33 +0530 2 Panchayat (Librarian) along with arrears and interest of 18% at the earliest, in the interest of justice. (ii) That, this Hon’ble court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to grant heavy compensation for wrongly depriving the petitioner from promotion, in interest of justice. (iii) Any other relief which may be suitable in the facts and circumstances of the case, may also be granted.” 2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that grievance of petitioner is of his non-promotion to the post of Teacher Panchayat (Librarian). He contended that similarly situated other teachers have already approached this Court by filing writ petition, which was disposed of directing petitioners therein to submit representation before the competent authority and the respondent therein were directed to decide the representation within specified time by speaking order. He submits that similar order may be passed in this petition also. 3. Learned State counsel submits that in view of the grievance raised by petitioner respondent No.4 would be competent authority to take decision on the representation, if any, submitted by petitioner. He submits that petitioner has already submitted representation vide Annexure P-6 dated 17.12.2024. 4. Considering the submission made by learned counsel for parties, this petition at this stage is disposed of directing respondent No.4 to take decision on the pending representation dated 17.12.2024 (Annexure P-6) by speaking order expeditiously preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of this order. 5.
