Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. 2. The petitioner was arraigned as A.2 in Crime No. 115 of 2023 of Dachepalli Police Station, Palnadu District, registered for the alleged offences under Sections 420 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 strength of the complaint of the 2"^^ respondent. 3. It is alleged in the complaint that the petitioner, on the on multiple occasions, had collected the money under the pretext of securing employment for the son of the 2^^ respondent in the Forest Department. However, the petitioner failed either to provide employment or return the amount X received by him. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner collected any amount from the 2'^'^ respondent and has been falsely implicated in the present criminal case. The learned counsel further submits that, the offence alleged against the petitioner is punishable below 7 years and, therefore, seeks a direction to the police to follow the procedure provided under Section 41-A of the Code of the Criminal Procedure. never .*Q s CRLP. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Station House Officer, Dachepalli Police Station, Painadu District, is directed to follow the procedure as contemplated under Section 41-A of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, insofar as the petitioner is concerned, for the purpose of investigation in connection with Crime No.115 of 2023. This order would not preclude the investigation officer for filing charge sheet or final report after completion of the investigation. 6. Accordingly, the criminal petition is disposed of. 7.
