1. Heard Mr. M. Bagra, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. G. Tado, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that by
order dated 17.12.2024, this Court had directed the petitioner to appear before the Court of learned Special Judge (NDPS), Yupia on 23.01.2025 and to facilitate such an appearance before the Trial Court, the operation of Non-bailable Warrant of Arrest issued against the petitioner by the Trial Court was kept in abeyance. However, the

learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner had, in fact, appeared before the said Court on 23.01.2025. However, on that day, the Presiding Officer of the Court of learned Special Judge, Yupia was on official duty for attending training, therefore, the matter could not be taken up on that day.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the next date of NDPS Case No. 1/2016 is fixed on 25.03.2025 and the petitioner is ready to appear before the Trial Court on the said date.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that he does not have any objection if the petitioner appears before the Trial Court on the next date fixed.
5. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for both the sides, this criminal petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to appear before the Court of learned Special Judge, Yupia in NDPS Case No. 1/2016 on 25.03.2025 i.e., the next date fixed for the said case.
6. To facilitate such an appearance before the Trial Court on the aforesaid date, the operation of non-bailable warrant of arrest issued against the petitioner, Jawan Kamba, is hereby kept suspended till
25.03.2025.
7. With the above observation, this criminal petition is hereby
