Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. 3. Based on the orders passed by this Court in WP(PIL) No.140 of 2022, the respondents have issued notice under Section 7 of the Andhra Pradesh Land Encroachment Act, 1905 (herein after referred to as “the Act”). 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner submitted his explanation on 24.09.2025 and despite receipt of the 4 DR,J W.P.No.30397/2025 explanation, without passing any orders under Section 6 of the Act, the respondents are interfering with the possession of the petitioner. 5. Considering the submissions and perusal of the notice, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to pass appropriate orders based on the explanation submitted by the petitioner under Section 6 of the Act. Till such time, the respondents are directed not to interfere with the possession of the petitioner. No costs.
