It appears from the record that present Criminal Miscellaneous Petition No. 387 of 2018 was filed in the year 2018 for quashing the entire criminal proceeding in connection with Jharia P.S. Case No. 139 of 1997 dated 18.07.1997, registered for the offence under Section 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code. It further transpired that the petition was dismissed for default due to not taking proper steps for hearing of the petition by the learned counsel for the petitioner, which has been restored vide order dated 22.11.2024 passed Criminal Miscellaneous Petition No. 2926 of 2024. In spite of that, no one appears on behalf of the petitioner to facilitate the instant case. Therefore, this petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. (Pradeep Kumar Srivastava, J.) Simran/
