GP FOR HOME (AP) The Court made the following: 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE B.V.L.N.CHAKRAVARTHI WRIT PETITION No.12349 OF 2019 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief: “….to issue a writ, order or direction, more particularly one in nature of Writ of Mandamus challenging the action of the respondents 2 to 4 in not arresting the respondents 5 to 7 against Cr.No.8 of 2019 registered under section 323, 324, 506, 34 of IPC, section 3 (1) (r) and 3 (1) (s) of SC/ST Act, 1989 on the file of the I Town Police Station, Hindupur is illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents 2 to 4 to arrest the respondents 5 to 7 in pursuance to issuance of 41-A notice forthwith, and to pass…” 2. Learned counsel representing Sri Kata Sambasiva Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner is in attendance. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home on written instructions would submit that police concluded investigation in Crime No.8 of 2019 of Hindupur I Town Police Station, Ananthapuram, vide S.C.No.134 of 2021 on the file of the Special Court at Ananthapuram. Subsequently, the accused filed Criminal Petition before this Court to quash the proceedings. In that matter, both parties compromised and this Court vide order dated 02.05.2022 in Crl.P.No.5725 of 2021 quashed the proceedings, as both parties entered into compromise, and in that view of the matter, the writ petition has become infructuous. 4 4. In the light of above submissions made by learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
