JUSTICE S.RACHAIAH) 1. The learned counsel for the petitioners has filed application under Section 320(2) r/w. Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure and Section 359 r/w. Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarika Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 along with the affidavits of petitioners and respondent No.2-complainant stating that, the matter has been settled between the parties. 2. The averments of the affidavit of respondent No.2-complainant accompanying the application are as follows: <1. I am the Respondent No.2 in the above petition and I know the facts and circumstances of the case hence I am competent to swear this affidavit. Hence I am swearing this Affidavit. 2. The contents of the Compromise petition are explained in Kannada and I have understood the same and they are true and correct to the best of my knowledge and also contents of the accompanying Affidavit, are true and correct to the best of my knowledge.= - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:16249 CRL.P No. 101579 of 2024 3. Having considered the averments made in the affidavits accompanying the application, it is appropriate to record the compromise as prayed for. 4. Accordingly, I proceed to pass the following: ORDER. i) The petition is allowed in terms of the settlement. ii) The entire proceedings in Crime No.19/2020 of respondent No.1/Police are hereby quashed. iii) In view of the disposal of the petition, pending I.As, if any, are disposed off.
