JUSTICE BUDI HABUNG ORDER Date : 24.09.2025 Heard Mr. Dicky Panging, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. Ajin Apang, learned senior counsel as well as learned standing counsel, assisted by Ms. Nani Anju, appearing on behalf of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission(APPSC), and Mr. Gimi Tarak, learned standing counsel, Rural Works Department(RWD). 2. The grievance of the petitioners in this writ petition is that as a result of the order dated 03.09.2025, passed by co-ordinate Bench of this Court in writ petitions being WP(c)380(AP)2025, WP(c)382(AP)2025, and WP(c)404(AP)2025, and subsequent order in Review application filed by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission(APPSC), though their names were included in the revised list of eligible candidates falling under the zone of consideration, but, they have been afforded only 9 days preparatory time for the written examination which is scheduled on 28.09.2025 and 29.09.2025 whereas, the candidates declared qualified in the earlier Notification, dated 30.07.2025, had the advantage of nearly 60 days preparatory time. 3. It is the contention of the petitioners that 9 days preparatory time is not sufficient to prepare themselves for the written examination, in question, and accordingly, it is prayed that reasonable time be granted to them by re-scheduling the dates for the aforesaid written examination. At this stage, Mr. Ajin Apang, learned senior counsel as well as learned standing counsel, Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), on instructions, submits that the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission(APPSC) has resolved to extend the schedule of the written examination by further 30(thirty) days to ensure fairness to all candidates. 5. In view of the fair stand taken by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission(APPSC), and without going into the merit of the case; this Court directs the authorities of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission(APPSC) to re-fix the dates of the written examination after 30(thirty) days from today and issue a fresh Schedule Notification, accordingly. 6. In view of the above, the impugned Notification, dated 04.09.2025, insofar as it fixes the dates of the written examination on 28.09.2025 and 29.09.2025, shall stand modified to the extent as indicated above. 7.
