Petitioner’s grievance is that an amount of Rs. 31455/- due to him on account of retirement gratuity is not being released by the respondents. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes - 2 - needful shall be done within three weeks. 4. In view of above, respondents are directed to release the amount due to the petitioner towards balance amount of retirement gratuity within a period of three weeks, failing which, interest @ 6% per annum from the date of filing of the petitioner shall be payable to the petitioner.
