The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 482 of B.N.S.S with a prayer to grant anticipatory bail to him in case FIR No.12, dated 31.01.2025, under Sections 196(1),353(2) of B.N.S, registered at Police Station Sadar Jalandhar, District Police Commissionerate, Jalandhar (Annexure P-1). 2. Learned State counsel on instructions from ACP Babandeep Singh submits that in the present case, a cancellation report has already been prepared by the police and shall be presented before the competent Court of law within a period of two weeks from today. He has further assured the Court that appropriate legal action shall be taken against the complainant in the present case. He further contends that the custody of the petitioner is not required in the present case. 3. In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the present petition has been rendered infructuous. 4. Dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
