GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 24562/2024 ORDER:- This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…to issue a writ or writs or order or orders one more particularly in the nature of Writ of Mandamus to declare the action of the 5th to 8th respondents in interfering in the Civil dispute between the petitioner and the 9th respondent and frequently calling the petitioner to the Police Station as illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and consequently direct the 5th to 8th respondents not to interfere with the Civil dispute between he petitioner and 9th respondent and interfere with the life and liberty of the petitioner as illegal, arbitrary, without jurisdiction and unconstitutional and direct the 3rd respondent to produce General Dairy, CC footage of the Police Station…” 2. Heard Sri Dhanunjaya Baru, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents. 3. The Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that based on the complaint lodged by Goneguntia Kalemma-9th respondent, the petitioner was called to the police station for enquiry. After conducting a preliminary enquiry, the police found that the subject matter is purely civil in nature and therefore no crime has been registered against the petitioner. He would further submit that the police are not interfering in the civil disputes between the parties. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that recording the same, the petition may be disposed of. 5. Recording the above said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the police are directed not to interfere in the civil disputes between the parties except under due process of law. There shall be no order as to costs.
