1. Heard, Mr. Punit Ruparel, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Mr. Praveen Das, learned Dy. Advocate General along with Mr. Satish Gupta, GA for the State/respondent/s.
2. The only relief that petitioner seeks for in the present writ petition is for appropriate direction to the respondent No.3 to take into
consideration the request of the petitioner for taking necessary steps in conducting the election of the society in which the petitioner also is candidate for appointment as a President of Adim Jati Sewa Sahkari Samiti Maryadit, Jaampara, Registration No.03, Block Baikunthpur, District Koriya, Chhattisgarh.
3. The above limited prayer is not opposed by the State counsel.
4. In view of above, writ petition as of now stands disposed of directing the petitioner to approach before respondent No.5 by way of a fresh representation and respondent No.5 in-turn shall duly consider the same and take necessary steps in accordance with the provisions of Section 49(8) of the Co-operative Societies Act at the earliest, preferably, within a period of ‘120 days’ from the date of receipt of representation of the petitioner.
