GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS aggrieved by the action of the respondents, particularly the 3rd respondent at the instance of respondent No. 4 in repeatedly insisting the petitioner to appear before the 3rd respondent police station and insisting her to pay the deposited amounts to 4th respondent which was deposited in the Society of Amaravathi Mutually Aided Co-Operative Thrift And Credit Society Ltd., for the reasons her husband is working as branch manager in the said Society as illegal, irregular, irrational, 2 arbitrary, without any authority or sanction of law and violation of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the 3rd respondent not to insist the petitioner to pay the deposit amount to the 4th respondent and her personal liberty.” 2. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that based on the complaint given by the respondent No.4, police have registered a case against the petitioner in Crime No.341 of 2025 for the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 406 read with 34 IPC. 4. Recording the said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the police are directed to follow due process of law regarding the crime which is registered against the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.
