2. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 197/2024 arising out of Bariatu P.S. Case No. 211/2022, for the offences registered under Sections 324, 307, 34 of the I.P.C. and Section 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-III, Ranchi.
3. On 07.08.2022, at about 04:00 p.m., the informant Pritam Kumar Singh had gone to Bariyatu Petrol Pump. After getting his vehicle refueled, he proceeded towards Harihar Singh Road. When he reached near Sindwartoli, somebody fired at him, due to which, he sustained injuries. F.I.R. was registered against unknown persons.
4. Mr. Gautam Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is neither named in the F.I.R., nor he was put on T.I. Parade. It was further submitted that the name of the petitioner has come in confession of co-accused Deepak Singh who has been granted bail by a Coordinate Bench of this Court. It was further submitted that another co-accused Rohit Munda has been granted bail by this Court and the case of the petitioner stands on similar footing.
5. Mr. Ajay Kr Pathak, learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail.
6. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-III, Ranchi in connection with S.T. Case No. 197/2024 arising out of Bariatu P.S. Case No. 211/2022.
