This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: <…to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of respondents, particularly 5th respondent at the instance of respondent Nos.6 to 8 in insisting the petitioners to appear before his authority and to yield to the terms of respondent Nos.6 to 8 and give up house site property bearing Door No.3- 17, situated in Gramakantam of Venkatareddigudem Village of Polavaram Mandal in Eluru District (formerly West Godavari District) belonging to the 1St petitioner, as illegal, irregular, irrational, without any authority or sanction of law and violative of Articles 14, 21 and 300-A of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents particularly 5th respondent not to interfere in any manner with petitioners' personal life and liberty nor insist them to appear before their authority for settling terms with respondent Nos.6 to 8 in respect of petitioners' said house property…=
2. None represented for the petitioners. The grievance of the petitioners is that the respondent police are calling the petitioners to the police station at the instance of the unofficial respondents and threatening the petitioners to yield to the terms of the respondent Nos. 6 to 8. 3. Sri P.Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that no crime has been registered against the petitioners and as the subject matter is civil in nature, the police are not interfering with the civil disputes between the petitioners and the unofficial respondents

4. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the police are directed not to interfere in the civil disputes between the parties except under due process of law.
