The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Chowka P.S. Case No. 60 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 25(1-B)a/26 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Chandil. 3. On 03.11.2024, at about 12:00 noon Chowka Police apprehended three persons including the petitioner from Chowka Chowk and on search, a loaded country-made pistol was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. 4. It was submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and charge-sheet has been submitted in this case. 5. Mr. Anup Pawan Topno, learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail. 6. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Chandil in connection with Chowka P.S.
