Present petition has been filed raising a grievance with regard to the fact that despite the petitioner having been provisionally selected in terms of communication dated 13.07.2024 issued by the respondent-Indian Oil Corporation, the allotment of the retail outlet dealership to the petitioner has not been finalized till date. 3. Counsel for the contesting respondents has pointed out that a petition bearing Writ-C No.15169 of 2024 had been filed by one Himendra Kumar for allotment of the said retail outlet dealership wherein an order was passed by this Court on 22.07.2024 in terms of which the Corporation was directed to consider his application and proceed in accordance of law. 4. Counsel for the Indian Oil Corporation states that the matter is pending, and further four weeks' time is sought to conclude the proceedings. 5. Accordingly, the respondent-Indian Oil Corporation is directed to consider the candidature of the petitioner and the aforesaid Himendra Kumar and come to a decision with regard to allotment of the retail outlet dealership after considering all the relevant facts and circumstances and grant it to the person whose candidature is found to be better. 6.
