KARUMANCHI INDRANEEL BABU The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... to issue a writ of Mandamus or any other similar writ or direction to the Respondents 1 to 12., declaring their action of interfering with the repair works and the legitimate cable transmission works of the petitioner carried out in the town of Ponnur Chebrolu, Tsumudur, Baptla and Tenali Mandals to their cables laid on the poles of the APSPDCL, Andhra Pradesh Southern Power Distribution Company Ltd, by paying the pole rental charges to the said department and for not taking palpable action against the 13th respondent or any other person or persons acting on behalf of the 13th respondent cable operator on the complaints made by the petitioner and its affiliate cable operators or taking concrete steps to prevent the damage, destruction and disruption to the cable transmission services, fiber and cable equipment of the petitioner laid on the poles of APSPDCL, as illegal, arbitrary, unjust violative of Articles 14,21 and 19 (l) (g) of the Constitution of India and consequentially direct the respondents 1 to 11. as to not to interfere with the cable transmission activities of the petitioner and its affiliate LCOs which include but not limited to replacement of new cable with the damaged cable, repair, reconnection and reinstatement works on the poles of APSPDCL for ensuring smooth and uninterrupted cable and internet services to the customers 3 or subscribers connected to the petitioner's cable network during these covid outbreak situation.” 2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 3. Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on instructions, would submit that they are not interfering in the business activities of the petitioner. 4. Recording the said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
