1. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners, when the matter is taken up for hearing. 2.
The learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the writ petition was filed by the petitioner apprehending the demolition of the construction allegedly put up by the petitioner without due approval. 3. It is further submitted that subsequent to the filing of the writ petition, the petitioner has submitted an application seeking regularization of the subject construction under the provisions of the Building Penalization Scheme (for short, “BPS”). The respondents, upon due consideration of the said application and after following the requisite procedure under the scheme, have approved the petitioner’s application. 4. In view of the above submission made by the learned Standing counsel for the respondents, nothing survives for further adjudication in the present writ petition. 5. Recording the same, the writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
