GP FOR SERVICES II The Court made the following: 2 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE NYAPATHY VIJAY WRIT PETITION NO: 26010/2025 ORDER: The present Writ Petition is filed aggrieved by the action of the Respondent Nos. 3 and 4 in not considering the Letter dated 20.12.2024 of the Respondent No.5 and the representation of the Petitioner dated 10.12.2024. 2. The Petitioner has been working in the Respondent No. 5 depot as a Mechanic. While so, the Petitioner was diagnosed with mouth cancer and had undergone surgery on 24.07.2024, and after recovery, the Petitioner reported to duty. As the Petitioner is not in a position to work in the garage due to his health condition, he sought a non-technical post vide representation dated 10.12.2024.It is stated that, taking note of the representation of the Petitioner, the Petitioner was provided out-of-designation duties for a period of three months pursuant to the Letter of the Chief Manager dated 13.02.2025. After completion of the three- month period, the Petitioner was redirected to join the normal duties. 3. Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that, taking note of the precarious health condition of the Petitioner, it would be 3 difficult for the Petitioner to work in the same post. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader seeks time for filing Counter Affidavit. 5. Considering the submissions made, the respondent authorities are directed to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 10.12.2024 for providing a non-technical post and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of Order. 6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
