The limited prayer in the writ petition is to direct respondent no.2 to expedite disposal of Case No.1 of 2019 (Kripa Nath Mishra vs. Pragya Enterprises) under Section 67(1) and 67(2) of U.P. Minor and Minerals Concession Rule, 1963. A further prayer is made to release the amount of compensation. On the previous occasion, instructions were invited in the matter. Learned Standing counsel has produced the instructions according to which the pending proceedings have already been concluded and final orders have been passed on 22.5.2025. Copy of the instructions containing such order has been handed over to learned counsel for the petitioners today in Court. In the event, petitioners are aggrieved by the determination so made by the authority vide order dated 22.5.2025, his remedy would be to challenge such order in appropriate proceedings.
