This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“…pleased to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the action of respondents, particularly 3rd respondents in repeatedly insisting us to appear before their authority and threatening to arrest us, if we do not yield to the terms of respondent 4 and 5, under the guise of implication of us in false case, as illegal, irregular, irrational and violative of articles 14 and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents not to interfere in any manner with my personal life, liberty and properties and to pass…”
2. None represented for the petitioners. The present Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent police not to insist the petitioners to appear before them. 3. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents, on written instructions, brought to the notice of this Court basing on the complaint of the 4th respondent herein, a crime has been registered against the petitioners herein in Crime No.605 of 2021 for the offences punishable under Sections 468, 471, 420 r/w 34 of IPC on 09.09.2021. Except for the purpose of investigation, the police never insisted the petitioners to appear before them and never threatened them. 4
