1. By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards respondent No.2 to take decision on the recommendation dated 06/12/2024 made by respondent No.6/college about consideration of the case of the petitioners for admission in B.Sc. (Nursing).

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are regular students of B.Sc (N) of respondent No.6/College. They had taken admission in the year 2024 in B.Sc (N), but due to some mistake of the College, the names of the petitioners were left for enrollment to the University. However, the College/respondent No.6 vide communication dated 06/12/2024 has requested the Directorate of Medical Education/respondent No.2 to include the names of the petitioners and enroll them with the University by completing their admission process. He would further submit that the names of the petitioners were excluded due to some mistake and error on the part of the Staff of the College and there is no fault on the part of the petitioners, therefore, Respondent No.2/Director may be directed to consider the recommendation dated 06/12/2024 sent by the College/respondent No.6 and to take decision on the said representation.

Learned counsel for the State would submit that if the recommendation sent by the College/respondent No.6, is still pending before the respondent No.2/Director, the same shall be consider in accordance with law within a period of 15 days.
4. I have heard counsel for the parties and perused the communication dated 06/12/2024.

It appears from the communication dated 06/12/2024 that the names of the petitioners were not included for enrollment in B.Sc (N) due to some inadvertence mistake committed by the staff of the College and when the mistake came to the knowledge of the College, the College/respondent No. 6 has requested the Director/respondent No.2 to take necessary steps to provide an opportunity to complete the admission of the petitioners by including their names for enrollment with the University. The recommendation dated 06/12/2024 made by the College/respondent No.6 is still pending with the Director.
6. Hence, it is directed that respondent No.2/Director shall take necessary steps on the application submitted by the College/respondent No.6 within a period of 15 days in accordance with law.
