This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the action of the respondents for non-payment of the bills for the works undertaken by the petitioner. 2. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance and Planning, and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-Corporation. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has executed the work, viz., providing CC road in Bommagunta at Ward No.31/2 under Gadapa Gadapa programme, Municipal Corporation, Tirupati, vide agreement No.196/ME/2023-2024, dt.03.10.2023, as entrusted by the 6th respondent. 4. The learned counsel further submits that the petitioner duly executed the work undertaken to the satisfaction of respondents 6 and 7. It is further submitted that after execution of the works, the competent authority recorded the progress of the work in M Books and final quality assessments were also done by the agency employed by the 4th respondent and thereafter the petitioner has submitted a final bill -3- W.P. No.26049 OF 2025 Date of order: 23.09.2025 for a sum of Rs.12,05,080/- and respondents 4, 6 and 7 approved the same, but so far no payment has been made to the petitioner. 5. In reply, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 4 to 7 submits that there is no dispute with respect to the completion of the work undertaken by the petitioner and the amount due payable to the petitioner. 6. Considering the submissions, respondents 2, 4 and 8 are hereby directed to verify and release the payments due payable to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 8. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. ____________________ JUSTICE HARINATH.N BV
