This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the action of the respondents for non-payment of the bills for the works undertaken by the petitioner. 2. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance and Planning, and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-Corporation. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has executed the works, viz., (i) repairs to toilets in BMR nagar, Lothuvanigunta and LA Sagaram Sachivalayam, vide agreement No.11/2023-24, dated 05.04.2023; (ii) filling of pot holes in Beripeta, Bharath Nagar, Thummuru, MR Nagar and Armugam Nagar Sachivalayam, vide agreement No.28/2023-24, dated 12.04.2023; (iii) filling of pot holes in Bhupaiah colony, Garidi street, Lothuvanigunta, BMR Nagar and Sankarapuram Sachivalayam, vide agreement No.28/2023-24, dated 12.04.2023; (iv) providing lift Swarnamukhi river water to the Vinnamala Channel with 6 Nos. motors repairs and purchase of 6 Nos. starters and PCV pipes with all accessories at BD colony, vide -3- W.P. No.28515 OF 2025 Date of order: 16.10.2025 agreement No. 39/2023-24, dated 11.05.2023; (v) providing ELSR repairs and 90 mm HDPE pipe line from ELSR to main pipeline at Vinnamala Harijanawada, vide agreement No. 56/2023-24, dated 05.10.2023; (vi) Repairs to Chairperson chamber in municipal office, vide Agreement No.57/2023-24, dated 05.10.2023; (vii) providing ELSR repairs and 90 mm PVC pipeline from ELSR to main pipeline at Biradawada, vide agreement No. 59/2023-24, dated 05.10.2023; (viii) providing for motors, starters and all accessories at Jagananna layout, vide agreement No.58/2023-24, dated 05.10.2023; (ix) construction of shed for open borewells on Swarnamukhi river bed at Beedi colony, vide agreement No.125/2023-24, dated 24.03.2024; (x) repairs patch works and CC drains at Beripeta and Kummari street, vide agreement No.124/2023-24, dated 24.03.2024, as entrusted by the 3rd respondent. 4. The learned counsel further submits that the petitioner duly executed the works to the satisfaction of the 3rd respondent. It is further submitted that after execution of the works, the authorities of the 3rd respondent recorded the progress of the work in M Books and thereafter, the petitioner has submitted respective final bills aggregating to a sum of Rs.32,71,836/- and the same was approved by the 3rd respondent, but so far no payment has been made to the petitioner. -4- W.P. In reply, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent submits that there is no dispute with respect to the completion of the works undertaken by the petitioner and the payment would be made shortly. 6. Considering the submissions, respondents 2, 3 and 5 are hereby directed to verify and release the payments due payable to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.
