It is argued by learned counsel for the petitioner that the application for grant of firearm license being Application No. 1053 has been filed by the petitioner on 17.02.2025 before the respondent No.2/District Magistrate, Bulandshahar. It is argued that considerable time has already been lapsed but till date no final decision has been taken in the matter. 2. Instructions dated 28.04.2025 placed before this Court by learned Standing Counsel, is taken on record. 3. It is stated in the aforesaid instructions that the matter is under investigation and the respondent No.2 will take a decision in the matter expeditiously. 3. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 4. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.2/District Magistrate, Bulandshahar to decide the aforesaid application most expeditiously and preferably within a period of two months from today.
