THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE BATTU DEVANAND WRIT PETITION No.7433 of 2017 ORDER: 1. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking writ of mandamus to declare the action of respondent Nos.3 and 4 in calling the petitioner to the Police Station and interfering in the civil disputes with a threat of registering criminal case, as illegal, arbitrary and violation of principles of natural justice and with consequential direction to the respondent Nos.3 & 4 not to interfere into the civil disputes in the interest of justice. 2. During the course of hearing today, learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondent Nos.1 to 4 placed written instructions, dated 19.09.2025 of the Station House Officer, Ananthapuram III Town Police Station i.e., respondent No.3, wherein it is stated that the Police have not received any complaint either from the petitioner or the respondent No.5 and no case has been registered against them. 3. Placing the written instructions, dated 19.09.2025 on record, and recording the statement made therein that no complaint has been received either from the petitioner or the respondent No.5 and no criminal case is registered against the petitioner, in our considered 2 view, it is appropriate and reasonable to dispose of the Writ Petition with appropriate direction to the official respondents to meet the interest of justice. 4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent Nos.2 to 4 not to interfere into the civil disputes between the petitioner and respondent No.5 in the absence of registration of any criminal case against the petitioner. No order as to costs.
