SPL.PUBLIC PROSECUTOR FOR CID The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... to issue a Writ, Order, or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents especially the Respondents no.2 and 3 in freezing the bank account of the petitioner vide Account number 98470100012012 maintained by the respondent no.5 by 2 referring to the alleged connection with Cr.No.23 of 2024, dated 09.10.2024 on the file of CID Police Station, A.P Mangalagiri by issuing a notice under Section 94 BNSS dated 23.04.2024 and the same is contrary to law, illegal, arbitrary, against the principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondents to de-freeze the account of the petitioner forthwith maintained by respondent no.5 vide Account number 98470100012012.” 2. Sri A.Sai Rohit, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of CID would submit that they have addressed a letter to the bank to de-freeze the bank account of the petitioner. 3. Ms.Ayesha Azma S, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders. 4. In the light of the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the respondent No.2 is directed to de-freeze the account of the petitioner within a period of two (2) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
