The prayer in this writ petition is to direct the authority to grant the petitioner the HRA and pay increments as per the Government Resolution dated 17.10.1988. 2. Learned Assistant Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that a proposal in this regard has been made by the concerned department to the State and the State in turn has sought for certain clarifications and as soon as the clarifications are received, the proposal would be examined and necessary orders would be passed. 3. In my view, in light of the aforesaid submission, the concerned department is directed to furnish the clarifications as sought for within a period of TWO WEEKS from the date of receipt of this order and the State Government shall thereafter, consider the proposal and pass appropriate orders within a period of FOUR WEEKS thereafter. It is needless to state that if the proposal to extend the benefits to the petitioner are rejected, it will be always open for the petitioner to approach this Court against such refusal. 4.
