Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:141469 Court No. - 49 Case :- WRIT - B No. - 1684 of 2025 Petitioner :- Shiv Kumar Singh Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 18 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Sharad Kumar,Shiv Shanker Pal Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble J.J. Munir,J. 1. Heard Mr. Sharad Kumar Rao, learned Counsel for the petitioner at considerable length in support of the motion to admit this petition to hearing and Mr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel, appearing on behalf of the State. 2. This petition has been filed by the petitioner praying that a mandamus be issued to the Chairman/Secretary, Board of Revenue (Administration), U.P. at Lucknow to inquire into matters of forgery, fraud, manipulation and tampering done by the Revenue Authorities in revenue record of Village- Bandi, Tehsil- Mahavan (old Tehsil- Sadabad), District- Mathura relating to the fasli year 1383-1388 in khata nos. 14A and 14B and for the fasli year 1389- 1394 in khata nos. 21 and 22 to correct the records. 3. The prayer is too widely cast. It does not apparently seek to enforce a right vested in the petitioner. 4. A petition with this kind of vague and omnibus relief cannot be entertained. It is, accordingly, dismissed as not maintainable. Order Date :- 19.8.2025 Prashant D.
