Order: The Criminal Petition, u/Sec.482 of B.N.S.S is filed on behalf of the petitioner/accused to grant anticipatory connection with Crime No. 153/2025 of Prohibition & Excise Station, Rajamahenravaram South, East Godavari District. bail in
2. A case has been registered against the petitioner/accused for the offences punishable under Sections 7(B) r/w A.P.Prohibition (Amended) Act, 2020. 8-A of

The brief facts of the case are that on 15.03.2025 at 1.00 p.m., on credible information, the Prohibition Excise Inspector along with staff reached at the Motorbanda Cheruvu Gattu left side the road leads to Pidimgoyyi Village to Pittalavani Cheruvu Rajamahendravaram Rural Mandal found one person stirring with stick in a plastic drum. On seeing the raid party the person ran away from the scene of offence, but the raid party identified the ran away person and called his name but the person turn his head back once and did not stop and ran away from the scene of offence. The police party searched for mediators but no body came forward to act as mediators. Then the police found FJ
2 wash in 7 drums, which was fit for distillation of ID liquor. Hence, the police seized the id liquor and registered the case.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, based on the statements of police officials, the crime was registered against petitioner/accused. Except for the statements of police officials, no other independent material has been collected to show the involvement of the petitioner in the commission of the offence. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner has a permanent abode at Pidimgoyyi Village, Rajamahendravaram Rural Mandal, and there is no possibility of his fleeing away from the Jurisdiction of the Court.
4. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, while opposing the prayer of the petitioner, submits that the investigation is not complete. When ascertained the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor confirmed that the petitioner has no criminal antecedents.

In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, since the petitioner herein is arrayed as accused basing on the statements of the police officials and the most of the witnesses shown to be official witnesses, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to petitioner/Accused, on the following conditions:

directed to surrender before the Station House Officer concerned within two (2) weeks from today and on such surrender, the petitioner/accused shall
3 be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) with one surety for a like sum to the satisfaction of the arresting police officials. After release, the petitioner shall appear before the Station House Officer concerned, once in a fortnight for a period of three (03) months. The petitioner is
directed not to hamper the investigation and tamper with the prosecution witnesses and he shall cooperate with the investigation.
7. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed.
