This is a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, wherein the petitioner has prayed for a direction to the respondent Nos. 2 and 3, the District Magistrate, District Banda and the Superintendent of Police, Banda, District Banda, respectively, to draw proceedings against the respondent No. 4, the Mahindra and Mahindra Finance Company, who has illegally seized the vehicle i.e. Truck (Goods Carrier) bearing Vehicle No. U.P. 42 BT 1702, and handover the same to the petitioners. Having regard to the nature of the reliefs sought in the writ petition, the writ petition is dismissed with liberty granted to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum for redressal of his grievance.
