Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a Writ, order or direction and more particularly one in the nature of writ of "Mandamus" (i) declaring the action of the Respondent in not granting the renewal of approval for the fifth batch for the academic year 2014-15 including by issue of communication dated 26-02-2014 as unlawful, unconstitutional and contrary to the Establishment of Medical College Regulations, 1999 apart from being in breach of principles of natural justice and strike down the same; (ii) direct the 1st Respondent to forthwith grant renewal of approval and include the name of the 2nd petitioner institution in the list of approved institutions for the fifth batch of the 2nd petitioner institution for the academic year 2014-15 IA NO: 1 OF 2014(WPMP 24589 OF 2014 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to suspend the proceedings dated 26-02-2014 and thereby direct the respondents to reconsider and grant renewal of approval for the fifth batch of the 2nd petitioner institution for the academic year 2014-15 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 12.06.2014 and including the 2nd petitioner institution in the list of approved institutions for the purpose of admission for the academic year 2014-15, pending disposal of the above Writ Petition Counsel for the Petitioner(S):

The Court made the following ORDER:
No representation for the petitioners. On the earlier occasion also i.e., on 17.09.2025, there was no representation for the petitioners.
Since the matter pertains to renewal of approval for the fifth batch admissions in the petitioners’ institutions for the academic year 2014-15, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.
