The case of the petitioner in brief is that the petitioner i: registered company registered under shops and Establishments Act vide registration No.07-58-0593740 and the company deals with supply of private IS a security staff and security supervisors. Respondent No.4 represented by Executive Officer-cum-Deputy Collector issued a tender notification calling for tenders for a period of two (02) years vide tender notice No.S1/4473/2024, dated 15.08.2024. Pursuant to the tender notification, the petitioner has submitted his tender duly complying all the requirements as per the said tender notice by depositing an amount of Rs.4,00,000/- towards Security Deposit in favour of respondent No.4. Thereafter, as per the tender notice, technical bid was opened on 31.08.2024. After scrutiny of the tenders along with documents only two tenders were declared as qualified out of the five bidders i.e. the petitioner’s it company and one another. The existing contractor’s term was expired by 25.09.2024. Hence, by virtue of the declaration of the petitioner’s bid as L.1, the respondents have awarded the contract in favour of the petitioner, as the period of contract commences from 01.10.2024. But the respondent No.2 did not take any action for awarding the contract in favour of the petitioner inspite of the reports from the respondent Nos.3 and 4. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition is filed. 3. Heard Mr. B.Hanumantha Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsels appearing for the respondents. 4. On hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent No.2 is not approving the tender of the petitioner and awarding the 3 4 contract in pursuance of the tender notice No.S1/4473/2024, dated 15.08.2024 though the petitioner has became L.1, but the respondent No.2 did not take any action for awarding the contract to the petitioner. Hence, the learned counsel for the petitioner requests to pass appropriate orders. Learned Government Pleader for Endowments has produced a copy of the instructions of the respondent No.4-Executive Officer, wherein it is stated that, the award of the contract is not finalized till date and it is under consideration of the respondent No.2. 5. 6. Considering the submissions of both the learned counsels, respondent No.2-the Commissioner, Vijayawada is directed to award contract as per tender notice, dated 15.08.2024 to enable the petitioner to supply manpower to the 4*'^ respondent-Temple and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible preferably, within a period of two (02) months, from the date of receipt of copy of this order. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. 7. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall also stand closed. Sd/- P.
