JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA) 1. The petitioner is before this Court seeking the following prayer: <A. Issue a writ of in the Nature of Mandamus/or of appropriate nature/order(s) to the Respondent no.4 thereby directing to consider the representation dated 16.07.2025 (Annexure-A) submitted by the Petitioner at the earliest, in the interest of justice and equity. B. May pass any other order(s)/direction(s) the Hon9ble court deems fit in the interest of justice and equity. AND FOR THIS ACT OF KINDNESS THE PETITIONER SHALL EVER PRAY AS IS DUTY BOUND.= 2. The petitioner is said to be working as a Lecturer in the College managed by the fourth respondent - Society. A complaint comes to be registered before the jurisdictional Police at Dharwad. Pursuant to the registration of the crime, a show cause notice comes to be issued against the petitioner and pursuant to the issuance of the show cause notice and its reply, the petitioner comes to be placed under suspension on account of the registration of a crime. It transpires that the crime was challenged before this Court - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:16096 WP No. 106123 of 2025 and has now been quashed. In the light of the said circumstance, the petitioner submits a representation. The representation has not been considered therefore, the petitioner is before this Court in the subject petition. 3. Learned counsel for respondent No.4 Shri G.I. Gachchinamath submits that the representation will meet its consideration in accordance with law, if a reasonable time is granted; since the suspension of the petitioner had come about only on account of the involvement of the petitioner in the criminal case, which is no longer in subsistence. The representation of the petitioner shall merit consideration in accordance with law, within an outer limit of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not earlier.
