The present Application has been filed by the applicant-Ahsan for regular bail under Section 3, Section 5 read with Section 11 of the Uttarakhand Protection of Cow Progeny Act, 2007 in case Crime No.96 of 2025, registered at Police Station Bhagwanpur, District Haridwar. 2. As per the First Information Report dated 23.03.2025, on a secret information, the police party raided the spot and recovered 150 kg of beef and other articles. There were three persons present on the spot. 1 2025:UHC:2508 Seeing the police party, they called each other’s name and asked to run away from the spot. 3. The present applicant was arrested on 24.03.2025. 4. Heard Mr. Susheel Kumar, learned counsel holding brief of Mr. Gaurav Singh, learned counsel for applicant and Mr. G.S. Sandhu, learned Additional Advocate General for respondent. 5. Mr. Susheel Kumar, Advocate, contended that the applicant has been falsely implicated in the present matter. He was not present on the spot. Nothing was recovered from his possession. He is not a previous convict. 6. Mr. G.S. Sandhu, Additional Advocate General has opposed the bail application orally. 7. Having considered the submissions of learned counsel for both the parties and in the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion as to the merit of the case, this Court is of the view that the applicant deserves bail at this stage. 8. The Bail Application is allowed. 9.
