GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... to issue writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 2 Respondent Nos.2 to 4 in not registering the FIR against the Respondent Nos. 5 to 7 in spite of the petitioner's oral and written complaint dated 28-04-2021 and also in spite of sending the complaint through post and further on several requests and Personal approaches of the petitioner is illegal, arbitrary, improper, and unconstitutional and against the procedure contemplated under the code of criminal procedure and consequently direct the Respondent No. 2 to 4 to Register the FIR against the Respondents 5 to 7 basing on the written complaint dated 28-04-2021 lodged by the petitioner and sent through post and take action as per the procedure contemplated under law and to file final report forthwith as per the law and also procedure contemplated under the code of criminal procedure” 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that the Station House Officer received a complaint through post, and the petitioner herein never visited the police to proceed further in this matter. 4. Recording the said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the petitioner is at liberty to pursue her complaint, which is pending for consideration before the police. The police are directed to look into the representation and take appropriate steps in accordance with the law. There shall be no order as to costs.
