This is a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, wherein the petitioner has primarily sought a direction to the respondent No. 3, the Additional Police Commissioner (Suraksha Evam Adhisuchna), Gautam Budh Nagar, to provide police gunner for the petitioner's safety, in pursuance of earlier decision dated 12.09.2024. Upon perusal of the documents, it appears that the petitioner has to appeal before the State Level Committee. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to file an application before the State Level Committee. It is directed that the State Level Committee, if such an application is filed before it within a period of two weeks from date, shall decide the same withing a period of eight weeks from date of filing of the said application, in accordance with law and with a reasoned order, after affording proper opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
