I) <Writ in the nature of certiorari or quashing impugned endorsement dated 26.08.2025 issued by the Respondent Authority in No.Nom.H.D.M.C/Va.Ka.Nom.05/2025-26, as per Annexures-C. II) Writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the Respondent Authority to correct the name of the Petitioner No.1 in Column No.1 as <Mohammad Farhan Maiboobsaheb Daddamani= instead of <Mohamad Johan Maiboobsaheb Doddamani= in the official birth certificate maintained by the Respondent Authority, under Registration No. 803083/H/B/2023/010939 dated 14.04.2023. III) Any other appropriate writ, order or direction as deemed fit and proper be issued, in the interest of justice and equity.= 2. The petitioners are before this Court on the circumstance of seeking a change of name of the child in the birth certificate in Column No.1, which has been inadvertently printed wrongly. Joshna Dhanave, representing the respondent3HDMC, submits that if reasonable time is granted, the petitioner9s representation would merit consideration in accordance with law and appropriate remedial action would be taken by the respondent. 4. In light of the said submission, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the petition with a direction to the respondent to consider the application/representation of the petitioners for the purpose for which it is submitted and to remedy the grievance within an outer limit of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not earlier. 5.
