The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Sukhdeonagar P.S. Case No.363 of 2024(N), corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No.96 of 2024 for the offences registered under Section 20(b)(ii)(B)/22 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-XIII, Ranchi. On 06.07.2024, Sukhdeonagar police raided the house of co-accused Anurag Ray and apprehended four accused persons including the petitioner. On search, 10 kgs. of cannabis was recovered from their possession. It was submitted that quantum of seized contraband comes within the purview of intermediary quantity and petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. It was further submitted that co-accused persons who have been apprehended at the spot, have been granted bail by this Court earlier. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-XIII, Ranchi, in connection with Sukhdeonagar P.S. Case No.363 of 2024(N), corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No.96 of 2024. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Jay/-
