THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER: ORAL ORDER (PER: THE HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE PRADEEP SINGH YERUR) 1. Heard learned counsel Sri.Prashant V.Mogali for the petitioner and the learned AGA for the respondents- State. 2. With the consent of the parties, the matter is taken up for final disposal. 3. The petitioner after passing SSLC examination and completion of ITI course, applied for appointment in NWKSRTC on the unfortunate/untimely death of his father, who was an employee of the NWKSRTC, Belagavi on compassionate ground on 16.02.2021. The respondent No.3 sent verification report to the 2nd respondent on 05.04.2022 stating that the documents of the petitioner are genuine and the 2nd respondent ought to have sent the documents to the NWKSRTC, Belagavi division for - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:7884 WP No. 103501 of 2025 verification, which is not done. Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the 2nd respondent dated 03.11.2022, which has not been considered by the 2nd respondent- authority. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court seeking a writ of mandamus for consideration of his representation, by the respondent No.2. 4. Learned AGA representing the State submits that if the representation has been sent and received, the same would be considered within a reasonable time. 5. In view of the submission made hereinabove, this petition could be disposed of for the reason that the representation is made to the statutory authority, the same requires to be disposed of within a reasonable time. Under the circumstances, I pass the following: ORDER i. Petition is allowed. ii. Writ of mandamus is issued directing the respondent No.2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:7884 WP No. 103501 of 2025 03.11.2022 within a reasonable time.
