The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Lower Bazar P.S. Case No.272 of 2024 for the offences registered under Section 303(2) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of Sri. D. N. Shukla, learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Ranchi. On 13.10.2024 at about 6:10 P.M., motorcycle of the informant bearing registration No.JH01DT-8682, parked near the Puja Pandal at Lower Bazar was stolen away by unknown persons. During the course of investigation, petitioner was apprehended and from his possession a stolen motorcycle was recovered. It was submitted that petitioner is in custody since 18.11.2024. Learned A.P.P. has submitted that petitioner is accused as many as four criminal cases of similar nature. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected at this stage. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Jay/-
