None represented for the petitioner. The present Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the police to take all necessary steps relating to Crime No.236 of 2020 and cause arrest of the accused. 3. As can be seen from the proceeding sheet dated 22.04.2021, it is represented by the then learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home that the investigation is in progress and five witnesses were examined. It is also represented that the vehicle in question has been released to the owner of the vehicle. 4. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents would submit that the Court may pass appropriate Orders. 4 4. In that view of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the police are directed to conclude the investigation and file a report according to law as expeditiously as possible within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of copy of this Order, if not already finalized by this date. There shall be no order as to costs.
