In the instant petition, the petitioners are seeking initiation of contempt proceedings for non- compliance of order dated 30.12.2011 in terms whereof, while disposing of the writ petition filed by the petitioners, the respondents came to be directed to consider the case of the petitioners for engagement as R.E.T. in newly sanctioned Government Primary School, Baloni, in accordance with rules governingthe field includingGovernment Order No. 288 of 2009 dated 08.04.2009. 2. Perusal of the record proceedings would reveal that none has appeared on the two previous dates of hearing for the petitioners. It seems that the petitioners are not interested in prosecuting the case. 3. Accordingly, the contempt notice issued is recalled and the contempt proceedings are closed with a liberty to the petitioners to seek revival of the contempt petition within four weeks in case, the cause survives.
