ORDER:
Learned counsel for the petitioner and the respondents have consented to dispose of the writ petition at the admission stage.
2. In view of the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage, directing the petitioner to submit a fresh application to the respondents seeking re-issuance or renewal of his passport, within a period of one (1) week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the respondents shall consider and pass appropriate orders within a period of four (4) weeks by giving reasonable opportunity to the petitioner.
3. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
