This Court, vide order dated 14.06.2024, passed in MCRC No. 2885 of 2024, while rejecting the bail to the applicants, namely, Nakul Nayak and Harkesh, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. Earlier on occasion also, this Court had granted extension of time for conclusion of the trial vide order dated 04.04.2025 in CRMP No.1210/2025. 4. Learned Special Judge (NDPS Act) Jagdalpur, District - Bastar (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 01.09.2025 has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that, in the present case, statement of 07 witnesses have already been recorded, and the statement of 03 witnesses are yet to be recorded. Hence, the conclusion of the trial is likely to take some time. Therefore, he prays for grant of further more time for concluding the same. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of three months from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. 8.
