Learned Senior Panel Counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent would submit that since the petitioner is involved in a criminal case, in respect of which a case has been registered as CC No.424/2023 before the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Nilambur [arising from Crime No.190/2023 of Nilambur Police Station], the petitioner cannot be issued with a Police Clearance Certificate. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the 1st respondent may be directed to issue a certificate showing the details of the criminal cases registered against the petitioner. 4. The learned Central Government counsel seeks time to get instructions. However, considering the limited nature of relief sought for, I am of the view that the matter need not be adjourned to enable the Central Government counsel to obtain instructions. 5. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Central Government Counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent, the writ petition will stand disposed of, directing the 3rd respondent to issue a customized Police Clearance Certificate to the petitioner showing the details of the criminal cases registered against the petitioner within a period of 10 2025:KER:26666 W.P (C) No.11413/2025 -3- days from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment.
