Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Sri Mukul Tripathi, learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the State respondents. 2. This is a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner is aggrieved by the action of the respondent No.3/Tehsildar, Tehsil Belthara Road, Ballia cancelling/removing the caste certificate of the petitioner from the portal. 3. Learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that the matter of the petitioner with regard to cancellation of the caste certificate by the concerned Tehsildar has already been referred to the District Level Committee. 4. In light of the submission made above, the cancellation done by the respondent No.3 is quashed and set aside with a direction upon the District Level Committee to grant an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, and thereafter, decide the issue in accordance with law by way of passing a reasoned order within a period of twelve weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. 5.
