By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for following reliefs: "I. To issue writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no.4 to take decision/action within stipulated time upon pending papers sought with clear recommendation for sanctioning IIIrd ACP to the petitioner from respondent no.5 same have been sent through letter dated 16.01.2023 (Annexure No.10) by respondent no.3 further respondent no.2 and 3 also be direct to pay arrear with interest and monthly pension revising the P.P.O. (Annexure no.1); II. To issue writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to sanction benefit of IIIrd ACP (Next Pay Grade) after completion service of 26/30 years since 01.12.2008 revising the P.P.O. in pay structure since 01.01.2006 according to G.O. dated 05.11.2014 (Annexure no.2) and to be paid remaining amount with interest and monthly pension time to time.;" 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has made a representation in the above regard before the competent authority on 07.02.2024. 4. Learned Standing Counsel does not have any objection to the above prayer. 5. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with direction to the respondent no.3 to look into and consider the claim of the petitioner as raised in his representation dated 07.02.2024 and decide the same as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 6. It is made clear that in the event the claim of the petitioner in his representation is found to be genuine and rightful, the same shall be forwarded to respondent no.5 for its disbursement in accordance with law.
