01. The petitioner was placed on the regular establishment by respondent No.2 vide
order dated 07.08.1997 in the pay scale of Rs.750-940 w.e.f. 01.04.1995 as He1per to Station Attendant, thereafter, under SRO 14 of 1996 read with SRO 311 of 1997, he was extended with the 1st In-situ Promotion in the pay scale of Rs.2610-3540 w.e.f. 01.06.2000 while fixing the pay as on 01.06.2000 @ Rs.2910 and fixed his pay under the pay band of Rs.4440-7440 under SRO 93 of 2009 dated l5.04.2009 in fixing the pay as on July, 2009 @ Rs.8330.
02. It is contented by the petitioner that 2nd Time Bound Promotion extended to the petitioner under SRO 14 of 1996 while fixing the pay in the revised pay band of Rs.5200-20400
as on 01.07.2012 @ Rs.9820 and thereafter, under SRO 14 of 1996 dated 15.01.1996, 3rd In-situ Promotion was extended to him in the pay scale of Rs.25500-81100 while fixing the pay @ Rs.34300 as on 01.07.2018. Thereafter he was promoted to the post of Technician-III as Electrician since 31.03.1998 and the pay has been extended to him with the pay scale of Rs.220-430 in light of the High Court judgment passed in SWP No.699/1998 read with the judgment passed in SWP No.224/2002. It is also contended that in implementation of the judgment dated 27.12.2024 passed in OA No.1439/2024, the petitioner was extended with the pay scale of Rs.220-430 since 31.03.1998 again re-fixing the salary of the petitioner as on 01.07.2019 @ Rs.53,600/- and as on 01.07.2022 @ Rs.58600/- while allowing the Last Pay so drawn him @ Rs.1,17,457/- at the time of his superannuation as on
30.04.2025.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the pension case of the petitioner has been prepared but respondent Nos. 1 to 4 are not recommending the same to respondent No.5 as per the Last Pay Drawn by the petitioner for the reason best known to the respondents themselves.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this Court in number of petitions has already passed same orders and the petitioner would be satisfied, if the instant writ petition is disposed of at this stage with a direction to the
respondents to settle the pension case of the petitioner within certain timeframe.

Having regard to the judgments rendered by this Court in SWP Nos. 1128/2010, 1129/2010, 1130/2010 and 2791/2012, the instant writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to deal with and finally settle the pension case of the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date copy of this order is made available to the respondents. The respondents shall do so in light of the recommendations and the rules governing the matter as also in terms of the judgments rendered by this Court in SWP Nos. 1128/2010, 1129/2010, 1130/2010 and 2791/2012.
06. The present writ petition is disposed of in the above terms.
